Each year we try to blog from the field about our excavations. Unfortunately, due to the tempermental nature of the internet connection in Belize our blogs are not a regular as we would like them to be. One of the realities of conducting research in exotic and remote locations.
However, we will continue to endeavour to keep those curious about what life as a "field archaeologist" is really like - complete with the daily frustations caused by anything and everything from a broken muffler to a hurricane, flat tires AND spare tires too!, to fallen trees and a flooded roads. All things that can neatly thwart the most carefully laid plans and usually happen during the course of a normal field season.
If you want to follow our exploits, or read about previous seasons, you can click on the link below.
Stay tuned for an account of our trials and triumphs of the 2013 field season.
